Government Grants

Option A

PV system with standard solar inverter

50% of eligible costs up to a maximum of €2,500 per system and €625/kWp.

Option B

PV system with hybrid inverter

50% of eligible costs up to a maximum of €3,000 per system and €750/kWp.

Option C

Hybrid/Battery inverter and battery

80% of eligible costs of the Battery Storage up to a maximum of €3,600 per system and €600/kWh plus 80% of eligible costs of the Hybrid inverter up to a maximum of €1,800 per system and €450/kWp.

Option D

Battery Storage only

80% of eligible costs of the Battery Storage up to a maximum of €3,600 per system and €600/kWh

Feed-in Tariff Scheme

Applicants who apply for the €3000 grant, will receive a feed-in tariff of 10.5 cents/unit generated for a period of 20 years.

Applicants who do not apply for the grant, will receive a feed in tariff of 15.5 cents/unit generated for a period of 20 years – Installed in any location and >=1kWp and < 40 kWp

Applicants who do not apply for the grant, will receive a feed-in tariff of 15.5 cents/unit generated for a period of 20 years – Installed in any location and >=40kWp and <1MWp

Financing Options

BOV ECO Loan

With a BOV Eco Personal Loan, you can realise your environmentally friendly acquisitions.

Amount from €500 to €40,000 can be borrowed. No down payment required, BOV will fully finance the purchase,
Repayments can span up to a maximum period of 10 years (subject to terms and conditions),
Nil processing fees,
No early repayment fees apply if the loan is paid off before the repayment period,
The BOV Eco Personal Loan may be granted without any security.
The loan is repayable by monthly instalments. The amount you pay every month is determined by the sum you borrow, the selected term and the applicable rate of interest.
There are no processing fees and no other hidden fees or extra costs are applied

HSBC Green Loan

HSBC Green Loan to finance environmentally friendly and energy saving products and services for personal use.

Borrow from a minimum of €600 to a maximum of €50,000.

Preferential Rates of 3.99% pa interest rate and a 4.0% pa APRC*

No early repayment fees

APS Green Finance Loan

15 years maximum payment term (which depends on the life of the asset being financed)
